L-Series Washer-Extractors
offer heavy-duty construction and a quality
three-year limited warranty. The front, top
and side panels are AISI-304 stainless steel
to resist corrosion and enhance longevity,
as are the washer’s inner and outer drums.
Exclusive construction offers 360 degree
sealing around the entire door and a sturdy
door bar that protects the washer’s front
from outside forces such as laundry baskets
or carts. The heavy-duty bearing housing is
built to withstand the demands of
multi-cycle use, and well-placed mounting
holes are easily accessible — allowing
machines to be installed closely together —
maximizing floor space and minimizing
installation costs. Continental
washer-extractors feature double forsheda
water seals for additional bearing
protection. Dispensers are polypropylene and
utilize ethylene-propylene on all flexible

Control
Continental’s Premier Microprocessor (PM) Control
offers an easy-to-use programming system featuring
99 program selection options. Designed for
flexibility, the control offers 20 pre-programmed
and 79 user-programmable options to meet your unique
on-premise laundry processing requirements.
Everything from water temperature, wash action and
fill levels, cycle time, delayed start, automatic
cycle advance, automatic chemical injection, and
extract speed are programmable to properly clean a
variety of fabrics. Simultaneously, the control
allows for programs designed to cut utility costs,
boost production or customer turnover, and decrease
labor.
Select Microprocessor
Control
(Available only on 18- to 50-pound capacity models)
Continental’s Select Microprocessor (SM) Control
offers a flexible and reliable control option that
features eight pre-preprogrammed selections.
Additional programming flexibility includes
programmable temperature control by degree in most
baths, water level, soak delay, and cool-down.
Optional program acceleration for quick rinse and
spin cycles can be enabled or locked out from
operator control. And, programming functions on the
SM Control are accessible through a coded entry,
which prevents accidental misuse by unauthorized
personnel. The SM Control also features total cycle
run audit capability and an easy-to-read cycle
indicator display.

Designed to reduce gas, water and electricity usage,
Continental E-Series High-Performance
Washer-Extractors deliver super-speed extract, a
freestanding design, unmatched durability and the
ultimate in programmability! E-Series commercial
washers deliver more performance using less labor,
natural resources and chemicals! They are available
in 40-, 30- and 20-pound capacity models.
Zero-Impact
Installation
The freestanding design of
E-Series commercial washers allows for quick
installation and same-day operation. Unlike
hard-mount washers, there is no need to bolt
E-Series commercial washers to concrete
foundations. The machines are constructed
using a Multi-Directional Springs (MDS)
system that absorbs 95 percent of all
vibrations during the wash process. This
enables installation in unconventional
locations, including laundry rooms with
in-floor heat and above ground-level
laundries—all with little or no floor
preparation or cost. Moreover, the
freestanding design allows laundries to
easily relocate E-Series commercial washers
with zero impact on the facility.

Super-Speed Extract
E-Series commercial washers quietly and gently reach
extract speeds up to 354 G-force, about 250 G-force
more than most hard-mount washers. The result is
reduced dry time, operating time, utility
consumption and labor expense. By cutting dry time,
heat exposure and mechanical action are reduced,
resulting in less linen wear. Linen lasts longer and
so do your drying tumblers, which run fewer hours
per day. Thanks to E-Series commercial washers, dry
time is slashed, along with gas consumption, linen
wear and labor hours – making for a more efficient
and productive laundry.
Energy-Efficiency
E-Series commercial washers are designed to
alleviate the utility concerns of storeowners
everywhere, thanks to a sump-less design, exclusive
AquaFall sytem and a highly programmable control.
With a Modified Energy Factor (MEF) of 2.21 and a
Water Consumption Factor (WCF) of 5.03, the 20-pound
capacity model is listed by ENERGY STAR as the most
energy-efficient washer in its class. It can use as
little as 13.4 gallons of water, while most topload
washers consume 31-40 gallons. Less water used
equates to less water heated and additional savings
in gas and electricity. Moreover, E-Series
commercial washers run using single-phase power – a
very low amperage demand – making them easy and less
costly to install and operate.
Programmability: Logi
and Inteli
With the help of E-Series commercial washers,
facility performance skyrockets with almost
unlimited control options. E-Series OPL controls,
Logi and Inteli, are the most advanced programmable
controls available, but by keeping the attendant in
mind, they are simple to program and even simpler to
use!
Logi Control
The highly flexible Logi Control offers eight
individually modifiable programs—each with up to
nine baths including multiple pre-wash, wash and
rinse cycles. Variables within each bath—including
wash temperature, water levels, cycle times,
rotation and G-force extract speeds—can be
individually programmed for maximum efficiency given
the load type. E-Series commercial washers can also
be programmed for automatic chemical injection via a
four external chemical dosing ports—ensuring a
consistent clean with every wash and eliminating the
possibility of chemical overuse and resulting damage
to fabric.
Inteli Control
The most advanced programmable control available,
the Inteli delivers 20 individually modifiable,
phase-to-phase programs, and up to 79
owner-programmable options. This control is
perfectly suited for laundries needed a high level
control for cleaning specific types of fabric – from
the most delicate silks, suedes and wools, to
durable denims and Gore-Tex. A memory card – an
added slice of ingenuity – allows users to save
programs and copy them onto multiple machines –
conserving time and labor. The Inteli Control also
offers 12 external chemical dosing ports for
automatic chemical injection.
